Just sat on hold, pressed all the appropriate buttons through voice tree hell and went to make our ressies for the Party for the Senses. Had the old credit card number ready to go and the last statement from the gal was the dress code, no shorts, tank tops, etc etc etc. That was a shocker to me.
Have no desire to dress up while on vacation like that. I was quite surprised by this dress code. Anyone have any suggestions for their favorites while at the F&W Festival?

I have been to the Party of the Senses and loved it. It is a more "formal" occation, but wonderful. It is a bit expensive, but worth it in the long run. You really feel like a Disney VIP there. Everything to eat there is absolutely fantastic. I would not miss it if I was there for the festival.

As to other events, I loved trying the different foods from all over the world. There are some cooking demos that are fun.

I could not fit everything in. The weather is wonderful at that time of year. You will have a great time.

That's what they tell you for California Grill as well...no swimwear, no flip flops, no tank tops, no cut-offs.

In other words - just look nice. DH wore a polo and khaki shorts, I wore a pair of capri pants and a nice short sleeved top. We were able to wear it to the parks all day, too

Even the Party of Senses has a smart casual dress code that is followed. These events aren't like popping into a disney restaurant for dinner.

If you don't want to dress up a bit, then why not try the free events held during the day, along with eating/drinking your way around the world showcase..believe me can enjoy plenty in your park attire.

When they say no tank tops, they mean for men. Women can wear nice ones that hopefully don't show most everything. I understand the "spiel" is saying not to wear tube tops, though.

When my wife booked PFTS on Monday they didn't mention anything about no shorts. It's just the same dress code as at the better restaurants (business casual, smart casual etc). I'm planning on wearing my Polo shorts and Polo shirt just like I've done the past four years.
