Am I crazy or did I read once that you can use your counter service credit at the F&W and get 3 items and a na drink?:confused3

In past years you could use your SNACK credits at the kiosks for any of the food and non-alcoholic beverages, but never the CS credits. Disney has never announced that you could use snack credits and it was only when the kiosks were erected and signage became visible that you could see the dining plan logo next to items.

I'm not sure if this was possible at food and wine, but it used to be possible at resort counter service locations. I don't think it's allowed anymore, though. :(

No, not at food & wine booths. Possibly at resort locations.

I''ve read that some folks have been able to convert CS credits to snack credits at resort locations (not in the parked or DTD). However it usually sounds like it's 1 CS credit is converted to 2 or 3 (less common) snack credits that have to be used then - so you can't go to the resort and convert the credits and then go to the park and redeem them. A drink counts as a snack credit, so it's very unlikely that you'll get 4 snack credits for 1 CS credit.

That's a good clarification - it doesn't mean to trade them out to use later. It's something people often do on check-out day when they have CS credits left over and the resort store/CS may allow them to purchase some snack items instead using their credits.
