Hello,
I had a stressful time making ADR's this AM and forgot to mention my food allergies when making the reservations on the phone. (Online was down and it was 3 AM our time, so I was stressed and tired and glad I remembered my own name at that point!). I have some odd and life threatening allergies, I remember before when I went in 2011 I had to email something with all my ADR's on it prior to leaving on our trip in addition to noting it when I made the reservation.
Since I forgot to mention it when making the reservations, should I call again? Or who can I contact?
My allergies are to tree nuts (but not peanuts, coconuts or do-nuts!), soy, and pretty much all fruit- I can eat grapes (yay for wine!) and melony fruits, but apples, peaches, cherries, berries, etc will cause me to either swell up like a balloon if I touch them (I told my nephew my hands look like I am wearing Mickey Mouse gloves if I touch a cut apple since they not only swell up but great freakishly white- he was very anxious to see!) or go into anaphylactic shock if I eat them. Most are easy to avoid in main courses, but desserts can be a nightmare and since we are using the DDP, I don't want to miss out on dessert!
What do I need to do?
TIA!
