I've been reading lots of books and lurk on the DIS almost every day, so I have a good idea of what we want to see for our trip in June. The thing I'm worried about is once we get there and the crowds are huge, am I just going to forget everything I learned and wander aimlessly from line to line??
Do most people actually follow a plan from a guidebook? I know we need to be there when the park opens, but this is our first time, so I don't see us running from the entrance to Peter Pan so we can ride it 3 or 4 times, then running to the next ride. We want to take in as much as we can .... this being said ... are we destined to stand in line for hours with all the people who just wing it or can you tour smartly but not commando style??

Without running from attraction to attraction. Most people show up at WDW without a plan.My guess would be 2 out of ten have a plan.So pick and research a plan that fits your family best and make you up a little cheat sheet to carry. Most important be flexible has you go thruogh your plan and get to step 4 or 7 etc. and you run into heavy crowd don't panic just skip a step or two then later in day go back and see what you missed.
