follow-up to banking/borrowning process

assuming that dvc grants me ownership [with a june use year], i know that i pretty much want to vacation at a dvc resort every february...so once i make my first ressie for feb 2006, i plan to bank the balance of my pts [before the end of nov]...the next trip we might take will be for mnsshp 2006 - a new use year...will ms use my banked pts before dipping into the current use year pts?...thereby leaving me 2006 use year pts tp book my feb 2007 vacation?

if i get all the rules/regs down pat and don't get ownership - maybe i'll apply to be a guide!!!!

Yes, MS will normally use any banked points at the time a reservation is made- however, it's always wise to double-check to be certain that was done.

I always verify my point totals before making a reservation, ask that the banked points are used first and then re-verify the number of points after getting the reservation number from the CM. We have several contracts and I always verify the point totals in each one with every call to MS- even if I'm making a reservation from only one contract.
