I can't believe it's been almost two weeks since we returned from WDW. Just wanted to post some additional thoughts and opinions not included in the Trip Report.
Grand Floridian truly is grand. Or at least that was our experience. Never encountered rude or snobby CM's. Everyone went out of his or her way to assist us. For example, when I went to the front desk for an accounting of room charges and magical wishes I noticed a 75-cent charge for a phone call. Explained to the CM we didn't make the call and she immediately removed it from the bill. Turn down service - Yeah, baby!
Love the automated Wake Up call system
Transportation went well, even the buses were timely. I was especially impressed over Super Soap Weekend and the end of Food & Wine Festival.
The parks were clean. There was only one occasion where I encountered a dirty restroom and that was at Pleasure Island.
Thanks to the restaurants for serving SPLENDA
The following are a little negative but please know that we had a MAGICAL time and can't wait to get back to the World! Besides, the negativity balances out my post-Disney depression.
What happened to the 2004 Photo Frame Magnets?
The monorails smell like a Petting Zoo.
Restaurants and merchandisers on WDW property should all accept the same form of payment.
Why does a 16oz. beer cost $5?
If you're overweight, I don't want to see your belly. Wear a top that covers the entire **** and stomach area.
The Princess dresses are beautiful but don't look good with tennis shoes.
