Folding a fitted sheet

Ok I had to fold one today and I tried the method posted earlier and it still ended up a big mess for me. I give up on folding sheets neatly. I guess no one really sees my linen closet anyway!

Its easy:
1. place sheet on floor
2. Remove cat from sheet
3. try the martha method
4. get mad, remove cat AGAIN
5. pull corners together
6. sit on it till its flat.
7. Shove sheet and flat sheet in the matching pillow case.
8. open closet
9. cram half the stuff back in closet, throw pillowcase ball at the top.
10. Open closet and remove cat
11. shove stuff back in.
12. Try to take a nap since your tired, give up due to cat taking over bed.

I quit folding them, because they are a pain lol, I wash and put the same sheets back on the bed immediately so I dont have to fold them LOL.

My husband can do it so it is all neat .. which is what is in the closet .

Seriously How are you supposed to fold a fitted sheet?
Mine always just ends up rolled in a ball!

What are you trying to say, that a rolling up a fitted sheet into a ball is not the proper way to fold it? The next thing you're going to tell me is that shoving everything off my desk into the top desk drawer is not a form of organization either.

I've always done it the 4 corner's way. The secret to making it fairly neat and smooth is that once the 4 corners are all lined up you have to lay it flat and then finish it off on a hard surface.

...and then throw in corner of upper shelf of linen closet...

It always comes unrolled and/or falls back off the shelf when I do that, so I now make a half-a**ed attempt at folding (basically rolling it into a ball) and squash it down on the 2nd-from-bottom shelf. That way, I can crush it by stacking other neatly folded things on top and it all comes out looking passable.

This video shows the 4 corner method that I use. It's the best way to fold a fitted sheet, even a king size one, so it's nice and neat!
