We're staying at Pop the last week of August, and I may bring a wheelchair along for DD (she has Ehlers- Danlos Syndrome and lots of joint pain). I figured it would be nice to have not only at the parks, so we can do long walks around the resort, walk over to AOA to look around & eat once or twice, etc... My friend has one we can borrow that she said is super easy to fold & lightweight (it was used by her mom for a short while).
Since my daughter is ambulatory, she won't need to sit in it on the bus. We'd like to fold it and carry it on the bus, like a stroller. But has anyone done this, and is it okay (assuming it's light enough - I'm sure it is)?
DD really wants to stay at Pop, and we just booked the week we wanted with free QS dining to boot! I'm cool with it, as it sounds fun! But the drawback over something like an Epcot resort is that we'll take a bus everywhere (Epcot resorts are my fave, but this trip with tickets and dining and room is costing us less than just the room with a 30% discount did last month!).
Do they make you put the chair out of the aisle? I know the drivers want you do do that if you can with strollers (or at least we used to have to do that - our bulky double stroller was a pain, but worth it once we'd get to where we were going).
Thanks, All!
