FOG at Port Canaveral this morning .....

Usually it's around 4:30 when leaving Port Canaveral. The Fantasy is pretty much like clockwork on leaving at 4:30 unless there are extenuating circumstances.

well she only got into port at 9 am or something like that right? so it would be reasonable if they were delayed leaving after that much of a delay this morning..

according to the portcanaveral webcam the expected schedule is:
CARNIVAL MAGIC | 16:00
NORWEGIAN EPIC | 16:00
DISNEY FANTASY | 16:30

so they're all late out of port....but it makes sense, since they were all so late getting in...

It'll be interesting to see just how late they will be in setting sail. We're already up to an hour late. Probably some people sitting there at Fishlips wondering - when are they ever going to leave.

yes, carnival's sailing...so they made up a lot of time...only just over an hour late.

the fantasy has set sail...
so she really made up time, less than an hour late...

They did exactly that. Well one movie was shown in one place. They had characters walking around too. It was craziness. We got out about 10:30 and there had to be another 2000 people in line.

The worst part was all the luggage that piled up. They had all the express people go wait in the Walt Disney theater withOUT their luggage. It all had to be put in the hallways where the shops are.

We somehow happened to be walking by Guest Services when they opened up the gangway and were one of the first few off the ship--which is rare for us since we're usually one of the last off the ship. We were somehow on the first bus to the airport and had about 2 hours to kill before boarding our flight. Got some guava cream pies from McDonalds and headed to The Club at MCO lounge for the first time. Having Clear made TSA pretty easy, but all the airport staff were talking about all the late cruisers who were really anxious to get to their planes.
