1. Does the train stop running during FoF?
2. If so, how soon before the parade does it usually stop running? How soon after does it start up again?

1. Yes.
2. Figure between 15-30 minutes.
3. If the parade starts at 3:00, then the trains will likely begin running again about 3:20, or so.
(The parade will still be running on Main St.)

Thanks for this, I had no idea! We were planning on watching the parade in Frontierland and then grabbing the train to get over to Tomorrowland (i.e. get off in Fantasyland and take the smoking area path) for an FP at Space Mountain, I thought this would be much easier than fighting the crowds while the parade was going on, and a great excuse to ride the train. It sounds like we'll be waiting a bit for the train to come, maybe I'll have to rethink this plan....

I would get to the loading platform as quick as you can I like to see FOF from there and it seem just as soon as the parade ends the train is there. Disney has it down to a science

You watch the parade from the loading platform in Frontierland? Or Main St?

You wouldn't be able to see much from the train platform, but I would try to be on the Splash Mountian side of the street.

The reason the train stops is because the parade has to cross the tracks backstage to come out. Once it is all the way out from backstage the trains can start up again. I think they usually hold at the stations, so there could be a train just waiting at the Frontierland stop.
