Foam Ice Chests @ All Stars???

Has anybody noticed if the All Star's gift shops sell foam ice chests??

I do not know if they do have them at the gift shop. I recommend getting one off site if you can get to Wal-Mart or a grocery store.

Are you flying? If so and are being picked up by a service I know some will make a stop at a grocery store.

No they do not sell foam ice chests. I purchased a small one at Goodings for about $3.00. I used it temporarily at the Contemporary (since I couldn't get a fridge) and it leaked. I ended up having to keep it in the bathroom tub and eventually threw it out.

When we stayed at ASM, we picked one up at the grocery store for $1.50 and kept milk, juice, and half&half in it and it worked great. We took cereal and some styrofoam bowls and ate breakfast in the rooms. We all like milk and juice in the mornings and both are so expensive to order in restaurants (I can get a whole gallon of either one for what a small glass costs at both restaurants!).

I saw one at the BC gift shop I think it was somewhere around $4 to $5.

Just a tip for those leaking ice chests....... Bring a couple kitchen size trash bags in your suitcase and line the inside of the cooler with them before filling with ice / drinks, etc. Generally this will get you through the week when those darn foam ice chest leaks appear!

Scary thing was ours was lined with a garbage bag and it still leaked.
