Have any of you packed snacks, water, etc. and brought them in your suitcase?

Will we have any problems??

Help

No problems as long as you pack correctly. All liquids (water, soda, etc) must be in your checked luggage. You can not carry this on the plane even if it is sealed. Once you pass security you can purchase water in the airport and carry it on but its more expensive that way and I assume you want to save money. I know I always do, it leaves more for the Mouse.

Snacks are fine in carry on bags (candy, sandwiches, crackers, pizza) just no liquid type food. Salad is OK pre-mixed but not with dressing on the side. I have been told that standard cake is OK, cheesecake is not. Since it is a semi-liquid substance. Yeah, it's a plastique cake. whatever. So by that logic I would assume hard cheese OK, brie is not. When in doubt call TSA.

People have talked about buying water on the way to the World from the airport. That might be easier than trying to take things on the plane. Someone can probably point you in the right direction on here. We are a 9 hour drive and so just drive down.

We are flying from Canada to Orlando... the water and snacks will be in our checked bags.. I just wasn't sure what the rules were :-S

We ALWAYS pack food in our suitcase. We're the organic/granola types and it's really hard to find "our type" of food in florida for some reason :confused3. I hit TJ's and Whole Foods before we go and stock up on all of the must haves that make for easy snacks in the park. We stop at a grocery store once we get to orlando and pick up water, fruit, adult beverages, and anything else we might need. I only recomend packing non perishable foods and nothing that is liquid (as it might explode in your suitcase).

I would never survive all week on the junk they serve around WDW. Don't get me wrong, I'll have a Mickey bar or two....maybe three;) .

Hey Rainstar! You're gonna be in the world the same time we are  WooHoo!

I always take cookies, candy, and / or trail mix on the plane.
