Flying with Pal Mickey?

I am flying to Florida tomorrow and had a weird question. Has anyone ever had a problem with the new airport security screening and your Pal Mickey?

DH and I flew back in Oct to WDW and had Pal Mickey in one of our carry on's - had no problems at all.

I've never tried flying with him, but I bet airport security sees a bunch of them. They may ask you to have him talk to make sure he has working batteries in him. Have a great trip!

I had the same worry originally because a friend had shipped me mine and my first airport was my home one that Pal would visit. No problems. Working batteries but i turn him off otherwise they pick weird times to talk (had him in my purse at home and he started to sing and tell jokes in a non-disney store, I had apparently squeezed him LOL).

I've even flown down with DH and had both of my Pals with me and not an issue as did my 2 regular traveling buddies and their hubbies. I mentioned this because none of us have kids so I figured this is weird to security LOL

My only trouble with flying with Pals I've run into lately is as my older Pal travels he is now deciding he is too old to be considered a lap mouse and wants his own seat. But of course while he lives under our roof he'll stay a lap mouse unless he pays his own way

Thank goodness Disney allows the big kid in us all time to play
