Im flying for the first time...Do I need like a birth certificate or something for my DD? She's 11. Thanks
 
No, assuming your flying domestic a picture id is only required for those 18 and over. The TSA agents often ask my dd's (9 and 11) for their name at the entrance to the security screening and that's it.

If you want to double check, just go to the website for your airline. They all have the ID requirements, usually under the FAQ section.
