Well, respectfully, YOU should eat out and your DD should prepare whatever she wants to eat

People check large, duct-taped hard sized igloo coolers all the time. Just make sure it's under the weight/size restriction for your airline.

I was flying out of BWI one year the weekend after Thanksgiving and a woman wanted to get on with three homemade pecan pies; they considered it liquid and confiscated them. Boy, was she livid - she figured the TSA just wanted to eat some fresh pecan pies. They have to do their job.
Okay, you talked me out of it...I'll just use garden grocer and have them deliver to my room...but...I'll still bring my crock pot and make my meals before we leave for the park! I don't have the opportunity to cook for my family that often ( they now live in different states) and they really look forward to some of my home cooked meals. The parks are fun for us, but time as a family sitting around the table with one of "mom's meals" is just as much fun and important to us.
just not me. Vacation means never having to cook a meal, or clean up from one!!!

I never realized that pie eating was in the TSA bag screener job descriptionI learn something new every day.
To answer the question about what I cook in the crock pot...My kids age 33 and 37 love pot roast in the crock pot - I just add cream of mushroom soup, lipton dry onion soup to the roast and add onions, carrots and potatoes. It makes it's own gravey and the beef is so tender, it just falls apart. A family favorite. I'm staying at BWV so I will need to bring my own crock pot. I also cook fresh turkey breast in the pot. It makes the most wonderful hot turkey sandwiches you will ever eat! Both really easy meals.
