Flying with Delta?

We are trying to book flights to NY in August, and Delta is coming up the cheapest. Does anyone have any experience of flying with Delta in coach/economy? It looks like we could sit in a two together rather than a three, which is the most important thing to me.

Any comments gratefully received. Thanks, guys.

We flew with Delta at Christmas Dublin / Atlanta / Orlando and they were fine. There were some problems with our outbound connection time but as you are only going to NY it shouldn't be a problem. The service was good and the staff attentive and I'd use them again.

we've flown with Delta into Atlanta and then onto Orlando, the seats were leather and had seat back tv's. The staff were relaxed and friendly, i like the atmosphere.

We have flown with them a couple of times ~ No problems at all. Would certainly use them again.

We flew Delta Atlanta to (can't remember which) either Gatwick or Heathrow about four years ago. No complaints at all.

Last year we flew them to Hawaii from Atlanta and found them to be very customer friendly. Much more so than I'm used to on shorter flights on other airlines in the US.

I had hoped to fly them to the UK in June, but unfortunately American came up much cheaper. I've had some miserable experiences on American, so I hope they do better flying over there.
