My kids are flying for the first time when we go to Disney in March.....are we allowed to bring their booster seats on the plane that way we have them for the rental car when we get there.

Only FAA approved car seats can be used on a plane. If yours do not have that designation printed on them somewhere, then you can bring them and gate check them as you board.

Boosters are not allowed to be USED on the plane, you can carry them on as a piece of carry on luggage. An alternative is the bubble bum, but minimum age/weight is 4 & 40. Bubble bum is awesome & is highly regarded by car seat techs. http://www.amazon.com/BubbleBum-Inflatable-Portable-Booster-Purple/dp/B003GQ0LQ8

My girls have been flying to Disney since they were 2. They will be just fine sitting in the seat with just the lap belt. Bring toys or a tablet!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you

I know they'll be ok on the plane but wanted to bring them more for the rental car instead of paying the rental agency a fortune for the use of their boosters

Maybe we'll just gate check them

Thank you

Problem solved....look on the airline website....can check boosters free of charge

Thank you

Also Laws for cars seats differ from state to state so be sure to check
