We are currently scheduled to be on a flight, getting into MCO at 830am. Our plan is to go drop our stuff at the hotel and head to HS. I expect we get there around lunch. My question is, how important is it to be able to get genie + and start reserving lighting lanes right at 7? If I can’t get to it til 8:30-9, will we still be ok to get a paid lighting lane for Rise, and get times in the afternoon for other rides? The only reason we are going to HS is bc my 7 year old is obsessed with Star Wars. So if we can just get those ones accomplished, we would still be happy.

My original plan was to use the planes WiFi and set up genie and lightening lanes at 7am while in flight. But the past two flights I’ve flown with them their WiFi has been down. Am I ok to do it once we land?

My other option is to change our flight to get in about 2 hours later, but allows me to make the reservations at 7am. But that should shorten our day and we may not end up at the park until 2-3pm. But if we can still get Rise and a handful of other rides, we would be fine with that too.

Do you have a friend or family member that isn’t traveling with that you could enlist to sign in to your account at 7am and make your reservations for you?

I wouldn’t delay your flight but SDD and possibly ROTR might sell out before you’re off the plane.

Maybe? I mean I don’t know if anyone that isn’t already travelling with me that would really know how to do it. Many of my family/friends haven’t been to Disney 😞. ROTR is priority. If we don’t get slinky dog, that would be ok.

Maybe try checking thrill data to see how late RotR has been lasting? On crowded days like this week, it will definitely be gone by 8:30 but on less crowded days, it’s sometimes available later.

We’re staying off site in a couple weeks so I’m keeping my fingers crossed it will last until 8:30.

Thank you. I’ll check them out! We are going on Feb 4th. Not historically a super busy day, but it’s hard to forecast anymore.

Does ROTR have a standby line as a back up now? I feel like I heard it does. But can’t remember for sure.
