DD7 chipped a bit off of her tooth on Saturday ( perfect timing
) I managed to get her in to see the dentist today, but she wouldn't let him do anything. she was so scared.
She has a baby tooth at the front that won't come out and the one behind it is growing out of alignment. he said that because it hurts she isn't brushing her tooth behind it properly ( she won't let me near them ) and this is hard to do anyway as it's hidden. Her gums are inflamed as the baby tooth is rubbing.
She would not let him near her, she now has to go as an emergency to the hospital, to have a small filing to the chipped tooth, the baby tooth removed and the others cleaned and polished. I told him we were flying tomorrow and he said it should be ok until we return.
I am now really worried that she will get toothache or an infection whilst we are in Florida
and I feel like such a bad parent as my child needs a filing
