Flying to Tampa airport

Hi everyone , In August we are flying into Tampa and traveling to WDW the same day. Can anyone please tell me if the route to WDW requires Tolls? If so how much would the journey cost and how long (approximatly) would the journey take departing Tampa airport around 6 in the evening.Thanks in advance

I don't recall paying tolls, I usually fly into Tampa. It takes about 1-1.5 hours, it's a nice drive.

I don't think we had any tolls either. The drive took me 1 hr, 20 mins on a Sat morning, going from WDW to Tampa..that's the way I usually go. My ds lives in Tampa so we sometimes head over there at the end of a WDW trip and fly home out of Tampa Intl. At 6pm, I would plan on it taking a bit more time....although they are peppy drivers in Tampa!!!

There are no tolls when going from Tampa International Airport towards Interstate 4.

I lived in the Tampa area and made the trip often. It is very simple and there are no tolls.

From the airport you will be taking I-275 N to I-4 E. It is the western terminus of I-4 so you can't go the wrong way. I always recommend taking exit 62 off of I-4 as that usually has the least traffic.
