We will be flying to disney Thanksgiving day this year. Anyone ever fly Thanksgiving Day? Are Airports crowded, Average, or ghost towns?

Hoping for a calm, relaxed trip! :cheer2:

1st "extended" family vacation:
Me, Dad, BF, Brother, Sister IL, Niece 3yrs, Niece 8mths

We flew on Thanksgiving Day in '04. It was actually quite nice. Yes, our plane was pretty full, but the airport wasn't 'cranking' the way it usually is. I would fly then again in a heartbeat.

We flew Thanksgiving Day a few years ago, we had a late afternoon flight so that our daughters could cheer at their HS football game.

We flew out of Bradley. The airport was empty, our flight was half full...

It was great flying!

We flew from Denver to NYC this past Thanksgiving. Denver airport was a ghost town. We breezeds through security with too much time to wait on the other side.
