Flying in Driving home Magical express to MCO for rental car?

We are trying to fly in to Orlando in early/mid August airfare is and has been $400 forever! I have some airline miles and if we only flew down one way I can use them. I am thinking of renting a car and driving home , still pricing everything out. We are staying on Disney property. My question is can we take Magical express to MCO and pick up a rental car? The onsite company Alamo seems high compare to others.Thanks

Two points:

1. Yes, you can take ME to the airport to pickup a rental car. Disney doesn't care what you do once they get you to the airport.
2. There are more car rental companies than just Alamo at WDW. You can find info about the rest by referring to the sticky thread at the top of this forum. Be sure to check them all.

In order to take ME you just need to provide them with a flight number and time (use one around the time you want to pick up your car) - you don't have to show a ticket or a reservation for the flight, they just need a time to pick you up (three hours before flight) So if you want to pick up your rental car for 9 am, you would need to pick a flight around 10 or 11 am, and you would get picked up by ME at 7 or 8 am depending on how much time you need to get your rental.
