I need help/suggestions. My Friend and I will be going to WDW in early DEC.
I need suggestions on airlines to watch for great fares. It is a matter of if she flys out of airport up there or drives down and flies out of Columbus, OH with me.

I think it is too early to find good airfare at this time. We often fly Spirit or NW out of Detroit and nomrally pay 69 each way to 119 per ticket (non stop.)

Latley I have been looking into SW ding flights. There was been a few from DTW to MCO for around $40 each way (great deal, not non stop.) This is booking now for March 1 to June 1st. I think about 90 days out seems like the best prices. (at least for me.)

I know it's way to early to be booking/hoping right now. I guess a better way to phrase it would be what airlines have a history reasonable fares to mco from the area. SW Ding's are great and what would most likely be used if she flies out of Columbus with me.

I am looking for airfare for our December trip. Right now only Northwest & other nonstop carriers have flights available for $260 & up. I usually purchase early. Have you usually waited until 90 days prior and found great deals?

I mean if I have to pay $260 I'd rather do later than sooner. Usually Northwest (unless they are having a sale) hovers around that price.

What have you usually seen available at the 90 day mark?

We've gotten great deals on Spirit, $54 each way,; however, this has usually been at least 10 months in advance.

I have been noticing that Spirits prices are not as good far in advance then a few months before. It used to be if your flight went down they would issue a voucher for the difference on another ticket in the next year. They changed this recently (it cost $40 to do it, so unless the price is $40 better, it isn't wroth it.)

We never pay 260 a person to fly from DTW to MCO, but it looks like that is what Sprits prices are for most everything right now. I think 49 one way is the best we have gotten. Last trip it was 69 (Jan 4th to 11th) We booked that in Sep or Oct I think. Then again I am not happy with Spirit right now, so not very loyal to them at the moment ( I was before.)

What Dec are you talking about? The week of Christmas? Well then there might not be deals to get. If you are talking say Dec 13th to 20th or something like that, more then likely you can get a deal. :teeth:
