Flying from St Louis

We are planning a trip to DW in May 2006. I'm curious to anyone about possible airline prices for the month of May. I check SWA site frequently and also have Ding. Anyone with any experiences. TIA

allegiant is running flights from midamerica/belleville for $69 but there not posted yet

We usually go from around May 24 - June 6. For the past several years we've gotten $59/ow on SWA for those dates on the standard internet specials, but I'm not sure that prices will hold this year, due to fuel prices.
I think sale fares will be more likely to be in the $70-80 range, unless gas prices miraculously take a major fall.

Normally we buy our late-May tickets about 6-8 weeks out.

Last year we flew in May on the Fun Fares to Orlando $59 each way $136 RT. That was also the week before Memorial Day. We bought our tickets about 8 weeks ahead.
