Flying From Philly late February! HELP!!

Anybody have any input, historically or otherwise, on airlines/flights/times? We're going from 2/28 till 3/8 to catch ESPN Weekend.

I normally start this process alot earlier, but this was more spur of the moment than I'm used to. Normally fly SW or AirTran, but things are a bit higher or booked than I'm used to.

Any Dings! to look for on SW???

I took my kids for ESPN weekend last year (and the year before). I booked my flights from PHL as soon as SW opened the schedule. I think I booked at $79 each way. Ended up getting a Ding! for $49 each way. Unfortunately, there are no guarantees that there will be a Ding!.
I look at it this way, if SW has a fare that meets or beats another airline, I will book the SW. If a Ding! comes out, then I have a credit for a future flight. If not, then I still got a decent fare for a flight. Dings! for March won't come out until January or later

As previous poster mentioned dthere are no guarantees on dings or discounts

but we booked SW around Oct 22nd 2006 for this past ESPN 2007 weekend.
We got 59 each way. We left on a Thursday and came back on Monday.
