Flying from Osaka to Tokyo Narita airport, changing terminals, is it difficult?

For those that have done this, what is the process? We are flying back to Boston. It will be about a 21 hr day to get back. Coming from Osaka, and landing in Tokyo, we are changing terminals from 3 to 2 at Narita, do we have to go thru customs and security again after we land in Tokyo? thanks.

You'll have to re-do security when doing domestic to international.

I cannot remember if Japan has exit passport control or not (but if it does, you'll do it in NRT)
