Flying Fish or Spoodles?

We have an Illuminations cruise scheduled from the Boardwalk. I was wondering which restaurant would you choose before your cruise and why? Any advice appreciated!

Flying Fish is a great place to dine at WDW. It is an award winning restaurant and very upscale. Spoodles is a great meditaranian restaurant. We like the food there as well but it is quite different than Flying Fish. I would pick Flying Fish if I had to choose one but i do like Spoodles. Hope this helps a little?!

I prefer Flying Fish over Spoodles. We have always had excellent meals and service there.

I like both restaurants - it really depends if you want fancier style dining (Flying Fish) or more casual (Spoodles). Flying Fish has excellent, upscale type food. Spoodles is more Italian/Mediteranian style. I'm sure you'll be happy with whichever one you choose!

I just got back last night and this past Saturday we did the Illumintations Cruise with FF for dinner before hand. It was great! The meal was excellant as well as the service. It can get a bit pricey (we had wine, drinks, apps, soup, dinner, dessert), but it was wonderful. Enjoy your cruise.

You don't say how many are in your party and what the ages are. If just you and your significant other I would say the FF would be more romantic. If you've got a whole clan made up of kiddos and Grandma then Spoodles is the place to go. They have great big tables, good food and the prices aren't as outrageous as FF.
