Flying Fish kitchen view

Years back I was fortunate enough to sit at the "bar" seating overlooking the kitchen. I have already made my ADR's and was wondering if that area is first come first serve? Anyone know how that works? Do I just ask the host/hostess when I arrive? I would really enjoy sitting there again. thanks

We sit at the cooking bar everytime we go to the Fish. We do have ADRs but the impression I get is that if you were to walk in off of the Boardwalk without an ADR and request the cooking bar you would be seated in short order. We always enjoy the "show" while we have dinner but apparently not so many other people do.

I can get rather warm sitting there though. That's a mighty fire they have going to cook the steaks.
