Hi guys - I'm thinking of trying the Flying Fish Cafe during our trip to Disney in January. We usually have dinner at Spoodles and then rent a Surrey bike while at the boardwalk but I want to try something different this time. Your reviews and opinions are much appreciated. Thanks. :yay:

DD and I ate at FF in January. We are going again this fall.

The food, service and atmosphere were amazing. Have the chocolate trio dessert!

Here's what I posted about Flying Fish on another thread. :)

We have been to Flying Fish 5, maybe 6 times and have had wonderful dining experiences there. On our last trip in June, we enjoyed it so much, we cancelled an ADR somewhere else to return for a second meal.

Where shall I start? The restaurant is beautiful! The fabrics, tile work, colors, murals, overhead hangings, fixtures, china, etc etc etc .. all join together to make one of the most wonderfully designed restaurants I have ever eaten.

The service .. always so good! Our first trip, we had a woman who was so helpful. She walked us thru all the dishes .. all the things that weren't quite familiar. This last trip, one of our serves was Michael. I would request his section anytime.

Last but not least .. the food! Oh my gosh .. I have never had a bad dish there! The grouper, mahi mahi, snapper, halibut, steak, lobster appy.. were all just great. And a wonderful, unique finishing touch was the chocolate sampler. (or trio as above poster called it)

My favorite. Its expensive though, so know what you are getting into. But its really good.

My wife and I believe this is the best restaurant at Disney (other than V&A's of course).

We will be trying FF for the first time next month. Really looking forward to it after hearing the great reviews. :)

Citrico's used to be our favorite (also after V&A), but after trying it for the first time last year...It beats Citrico's by far. :thumbsup2 I have NEVER had better service at any restaurant, in or outside of WDW. The food was exceptionally good. BTW...If you get a chance try the Pineapple Upside-Down Cake Martini! It was AMAZING! :cloud9:

We had a very good late meal (9:30pm) at the Flying Fish in June, I thought the pricing was a little steep. If you have kids stay away from the kids pasta on the kids menu, my son didn't eat it and we had to buy chicken strips for him. We'll go again on our next trip, plus you can go next door for ice cream after dinner. Enjoy.

Thank you so much for all of the reviews - I can't wait. My husband and I love seafood. I can't wait to try to the chocolate sampler. Thanks again! :cheer2:
