John,
I make it a habit not to look up anything on a married woman.
I can give you a few tips on your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World. A lot has changed since your last visit. They now have people dressed up like characters. It is incredible! I hear one of them actually looks like Mickey Mouse! Oh, and now you can buy food right in the parks. No more carrying gummy bears in your pocket to get you by until you leave. You can sit down and have real food. And then they just put in these new things called "attractions" which are kind of like rides but with lines. I hear it is pretty wild. I am not sure I believe that last one as I have never seen one of these "attraction" things before so I question whether they really exist or not.
Now when it comes to pin trading, I had an idea that I am just dying to try out. Since I can't make it down to the parks for a while I was wondering if you would mind seeing if this works or not for me. I understand you are going to be down there on October 31st. I was wondering if you would dress up in some sort of costume like a Beagle Boy or one of those Disney Characters. Then, before you leave your hotel room, take one of the pillow cases off of the bed and bring it to the parks. Then, whenever you see someone wearing a lanyard, walk up to them and repeat this saying, "Trick-or-Treat". At that point, hold out your pillowcase. I am not sure, but if this works like I think it will, they should take a pin off their lanyard and drop it in your pillow case. I am figuring this could really take off and by the end of your trip, you should have a whole new set of pins. Now since you are doing the leg work and I am just the idea guy, I would be willing to split the pillow case 70/30 with you getting the 70. I tried this last year around here in Arizona. I didn't get many pins but I got a lot of stares and some candy to boot. It was about this time of year that I tried this so I am thinking people just have a need to get rid of stuff before November comes. We may as well make the best of it. Let me know how this works out. Be careful though. When I tried this last year, a bunch of kids hogged into my idea and before long, the whole neighborhood was full of begging children.
