flying around easter time

I am thinking of planning a trip from Thurs 4/5/07 to Tues 4/10/07 to WDW this is surrounding easter weekend. i was just wondering if the flights for these dates are really expensive?

I've gotten good fares for Easter break several times. There have also been a couple of years we skipped the trip because we couldn't find a good fare. Keep checking on prices several times a day and be ready to jump on a good fare as soon as you see it. I found a $217 rt fare from NY a few weeks ago and pounced on it for Easter break.

The fares aren't what will kill you. Its the service! When we flew over Eater a few years back I could not believe it! Every flight is over booked by 20 people, so the agents on the ground feel compltely free to be rude! "Don't like it, fine by me, someone else wants your seat." If we ever go at that time of year again, I will drive.

Check airfare during the week....Tuesday thru Thursdays are when I have found good deals for Easter. We have always flown for Easter, but this year I started looking in May 2005 and could not find anything under $400 -- so we drove. You won't have trouble finding a good rate for Tuesday 4/10, but you will have trouble getting a good rate for Thursday 4/5.

We are planning on leavin on 4/4/07 and returning on 4/10/07! And we have 10 of us total! We are flying but I have Ding downloaded thru southwest so hopefully as soon as they release those dates we will get good fares!!

We needed 11 tickets for Easter week and couldn't find any good deals out of Newark, NJ so we opted to flyout of JFK, NY for $287 per person round trip.

I'm waiting for Jetblue to release their March/April rates.

So far the best I fare I can for our dates (March 29-April 10) is $317.10 round trip per person.

This past Easter I had friends who paid alot to fly to MCO.There were 10 of them. They live in central Massachusetts and had to fly out of Hartford CT.Easter is usually the start of our vacation week in April so the flights from our area are always highly priced unless you hit it right with a ding or something.
