I had a carry-on case I thought would work, then I measured it and it was going to be too big, so I took it back. Now I'm on a search for a new carry-on case. I was going to have a wheeled case for me with my extra change of clothes and my DD's extra change of clothes, swimsuits, etc (all the things we might need when we first get there) and then DD was going to have a backpack with her toys, books, etc. for the airplane ride.
What does everyone else do for their carry-on cases? Any recommendations on what kind of case will work for us? Thanks so much! :goodvibes

I have always taken a backpack full of some little snacks, coloring books and other things that the kids might like. I have found it helpful that the kids each have their own backpack with the things they might like to play with or stuff to do while being on the plane.
