Flying adventure????

Does anyone know of anywhere in the Orlando/Tampa area that I can purchase a flying adventure for my son's birthday. Something like hang gliding, or anything else you know of in the area. Thanks for your help!

Seminole Lake Gliderport in Clermont will take you up for a glider ride. 352-394-5450

Skydive lake wales offers "tandem jumps" but jumpers need to be at least 18. 863-678-1003

Boggy Creek Airboat rides has added one of those flying kite rides. 407-344-9550.

The most amazing flying experience - no, the most amazing experience, period - I have had in Orlando is Warbird Adventures, an outfit in Kissimmee who fly T-6 Harvards and will take you up and let you have a go at the controls - WITH NO PREVIOUS FLIGHT EXPERIENCE! It is a truly sensational feeling, whether you take the controls or not, and it is absolutely guaranteed to be a memory that will last a lifetime. OK, it is not cheap (actually, it is pretty expensive at around $280 for a half-hour flight, with aerobatics), but it is absolutely one of the most original things anyone will ever do.
