So I have this friend... her name is lady_emz. She's getting married to the most amazing man on 16th October 2012.

I would have loved to be there for their special day, but didn't think it was possible. I jokingly priced it up one day, a qiuck 6 day solo trip for the wedding and a bit of solo park time, laughed at the price! Came home and giggled to my fiance about, to which he answered 'so why aren't you going'... I went a bit crossed eyed and said 'what??' to which he repeated 'so why aren't you going??' I went a bit googly eyed at this point. Was he being serious?! Yes, yes he was!!! So, I have the best fiance ever!!!

Here I am with Mickey at Chef's Mickey's last July

I am now officially booked up with Virgin Holidays for 6 nights, 12th - 18th October, staying at All Stars Music (at the moment!)

As a Virgin Frequent Member I was able to get 10% off in the jubilee day sale as well as free vroom - yay go me!!

Flying out on the 1pm flight on 12th October - can't wait to choose my seat!

This is going to be a Disney only trip - I don't fancy venturing off site by myself (apart from my one planned trip to the Premium Outlets on Vineland Ave) and will be looking to get a 4, maybe 5 day park hopper - not much value in the 14 days for the price of 7 UK ticket... so going to speak to the Virgin Rep in Orlando, or will book through one of the US authorised planners I know.

I want to explore the parks in great detail this time - we're always so excited and want to ride everything, we never take time to enjoy the little things, so thats what I'm going to do this time :)

Basic plan to far:
12th October - arrive, check in, check out resort, maybe try and find my way to Beaches and Cream for a sundae before bed if I'm not tired!

13th October - Magic Kingdom first thing - it's traditional for us to always have the castle as our first sight of WDW, can't wait! Must do all three mountains on day one! Aiming for rope drop, then see how the day goes, might park hop to DHS in the afternoon depending on how time goes and park hours for that day

14th October - AK in the morning, would like to do the safari first thing, then back to the hotel for a rest and to get changed, as I've been invited to drink around the world with the wedding party - so excited!! Would like to explore EPCOT in more detail before the drinking begins ;)

15th October - the day before the wedding!! DHS in the morning, perhaps EPCOT again in the afternoon depending on time, then back to the hotel to get ready as I'll be going to the rehersal dinner at O'Hana, which I'm so excited about as I've not been there before!! As Emz and Scott keep saying they are going to be taking my O'Hana virginity hehe

16th October - WEDDING DAY!!! No parks today - may go shopping at the outlets in the morning, then wander around the Boardwalk area, do a bit of resort hopping early afternoon - then back to the hotel to get all dolled up for the ceremony at 5pm :D

17th October - recovery day hehe! I have a park ticket for this day, so will probably head back to MK then to whichever park I think I've not seen enough of, previous days pending :) MK in the evening as I'll be joining Emz and Scott for the Tomorrowland Dessert Party - fireworks to end my whirlwind tour :D

18th October - check out day! DTD for last minute shopping, might do a tour of the monorail resorts or maybe Animal Kingdom - head back to hotel for transfer to the airport

So my first slight dilemma - I had my heart set on staying in a Little Mermaid room at AoA, but Virgin Holidays can't book them yet - no idea why! But they have said that if rooms become available closer to my travel date they will let me switch hotels woohooo! So cross fingers they get some allocation :)

Will post more as it comes to light - and if you see anything I've missed please let me know!!

Thanks for reading :D xxx
