Hey folks, simply wanted to hear any experiences of people using their service to Sanford ?

Thanks in advance :thumbsup2

We flew with them in 2006 and it was not a bad flight the good thing was its a direct flight so you don't have to worry about stopping. Sanford airport is good though its very small and easy to find your way about as there are only two terminals.

The only thing we found was the transfers to our resort were on the pricey side. If you go onto the Sanford airport website they give you a list of taxi/shutle bus and town car services to price up your options. We stayed at the Sheraton Vistana and it cost us $200 (with Mears) for the return trip but its gone up a bit now.

We are flying with BA this year as it worked out cheaper to fly in direct to orlando international and get the Disney Magical express as we are staying on site this year.

Hope that helps :goodvibes

We flew flyglobespan in 2008, although we did there version of 1st class as we needed the extra legroom - 3 out of 4 of us are 6' and above. We had a great flight and could not fault the crew etc. not sure what it was like in economy as we boarded the plane at the front, but we found them OK, we have also flown travel direct, virgin and BA, our view was that the less we spent on the flights the more we had to spend when there

We flew with them last July from Belfast and had no problems at all. It did leave almost an hour late (not that unusual for summer flights) but we were really pleasantly surprise. Not using them this year as the price was just too dear and we got a great deal with BA from Gatwick.

Guys, thanks for the comments. As with many regular visitors to FL I guess I've done the wide spectrum of flight options (limited as they are starting from Scotland) and this time the lure of a direct flight :worship: was the main driver for the party.

I didn't imagine there to be any downside with Globespan and even if there was I'm sure it could have been suffered for 9 hours. I'm looking forward to less "hassle" in the smaller airport, many years since I last went through SFB so looking for some improvements, not again that that really matters... maybe a little on the return.

6 weeks tomorrow :cool2:
