FLY Pen?

Does anyone know anything about these FLY pen, pentop computers my DD9 is wanting one for Christmas. I've visited their web page and have read about them. But, I would love to hear from someone who has already purchased one to see how they work and the negatives.

DS10 has mentioned this and since he hasn't thought of many other things, I decided to get him one. I figure I can always return it if I hear lots of bad things about it. Can't help you regarding how well they work - sorry. I think it could be a popular item this year!?

BTW Target has an exclusive red Fly pen.

I'd also love to know if anyone has actually used one.

My DD11 went to the web site and is wild for one. I ordered hers from amazon.com. Have your daughter visit the webpage and see if she likes it. She hasn't opened it yet as it's for Christmas. I Don't knop how many opinions you will get before Christmas because the Fly Pen has only been on the market for about 1 month.

The main drawback I see so far, is I think they can only be used on this special paper... which is about ten bucks for a notebook. They look pretty cool, but I just wonder how practical they are If you cant use them on regular paper... and it seems like most of the coolest stuff it does, requires additional software.
