OMG I loved your photos of Scotland! It is so unbelievably gorgeous and other worldly. We had the best time visiting there.
I agree with your decision to ditch the Monorail Pub Crawl at Disney. I don't 'get' the obsession people have with Trader Sams. I think it is overpriced and completely overhyped. However, we do love the bar at The Grand Floridian.
I think a pub crawl at Disney Springs would be fantastic! Jock Lindsays Hangar Bar, Raglan Road, Wine Bar, Morimoto Asia, Jaleo, House of Blues, Home Cookin', Lucky Strike, Margarita bar, Summer House, Edison, Wine Bar George etc. I love Disney Springs and think they have the best food in Orlando.
I love a Margaritaville and have been to them everywhere! They are always fun!
Just a caveat about Pat O'Brians, they no longer make their famous Hurricanes to order but use a mix and they are no longer worth buying. We were at the original in New Orleans for the last weekend in May and they were horrible. My son, husband, and I all threw ours in the trash. I was so disappointed. At least ask for a sample before you order and you can decide for yourselves.
Ahh the avocado stove! One of my first apartments had a teal green/turquoise stove. I wish I still had that stove!
We will be at City Walk on October 7th after Howl-O-Scream on the 6th so I will be following your crawl!
Thanks for the always fabulous posts!
Oh thank you for the heads up on the Hurricane now, we won`t bother. I know most places do a lot of premix batches, you should see where Confisco get the wine for their Sangria!!!! But completely pre made is not for us, one of the worst things about
HHN was their drinks, all sugar, no kick!!! That`s a shame you had throw the drinks away, I hate to hear alcohol is being ruined lol.....
An avocado stove!!!! Wow, never seen one of those before lol....thank goodness only the food is popular today!!!
Disney Springs do have some amazing places for both food and drink, I think if we do get over there we`d like to try Jock Lindsays Hangar Bar or maybe the bar at Boathouse if there are seats, it`s always so busy!
We`ve only been to the M`ville in Citywalk and apart from a blip several years ago, we have always really enjoyed the food there, nothing exceptional, but solid standard and yes, fun place with very good barmen!!
We`re still on the fence about buying tickets for Howl o Scream, I know we`d enjoy it, but, we`ll see if we feel like it when we`re there. We absolutely loved HoS when we went a couple of years ago with keishashadow and her husband, it beat HHN hands down in every way!! We got some very good scares too which was so much fun!
I`m so glad you liked the Scotland pics, it is a stunning country with more to it than Tartan, whisky and bagpipes and anyone who visits gets to see the real Scotland. I helped one of my American cousins friends choose some places to go this past summer and they loved it all. Not a lot of folks hear about a thing called The Falkirk Wheel, amazing piece of engineering and fun too, they went back for another visit which was nice to hear.
So, yes I`m thrilled you enjoyed your visit to Scotland so much and happy you`re along again for this one too, it`s always nice to know you enjoy it
