1. I fell asleep with the TV on, the dogs are all asleep on the bed, I'm sacked out (finally) and one of those stupid Domino Pizza commercials come on where the doorbell rings. The dogs jump up and start viciously barking/snarling and of course trample me in their haste to attack like someone is standing over me with a machete. I about had a heart attack and that was the end of sleep for the night.

2. Radio commercials that have a siren blaring in them...came on during the drive to work and scared the snot out of me, I thought I had cut off an ambulance.

This has happened to me a few times :rotfl:

Or commercials or radio stations that sometimes uses "noises" that sound like cell phones ringing. I hear that and I start looking around for my phone.

I agree about the siren issue--I always think I'm about to be pulled over.

lol, I checked the domino's website at work the other day. I then turned and was talking to a coworker. All of a sudden we heard the doorbell ring. It scared us both because we are located in the shelter. You have to ring the gate to be let in, then there is a driveway alarm that will buzz THEN you can go and ring the doorbell. It scared us because we thought maybe a perp had climbed the fence looking for his wife. It took us forever to figure out that it was the website LOL! :rotfl: :rotfl2:

I hate those radio commercials. Especially the ones with a honking horn. Makes me jump almost everytime. And my dog does the same thing when someone rings a doorbell or knocks on tv.

Ringng cell phones in commercials drive me nuts :headache: . And sometimes the sound effects give me me a tiny scare in the car...I have very sensitive hearing and if the radio commercial has a tickety-tackety noise, or a clank or something - especially with our fairly decent stero/CD system in the Camry - then I'll start thinking something is wrong with the car :scared1: .

OT - There's a bird whose 'call' sounds like an alarm clock (no, *really*) - I think it's a cardinal? Anyway, sometimes that gets me...I'll hear it and think I have to wake up!

agnes!

So, I'm not the only one who has a dog that does this? Unfortunately, my mother has to have knee surgery thanks to one of those commercials.

The TV doorbell rang, and my 112lb Golden Retriever took off from the couch and pulled my mother's leg with her. :worried:

I can't stand those commercials either - especially when they are 10 x louder than the show you are watching!

This happened to me today. The traffic was braking and I am wondering if there is an accident ahead; when I hear a siren. I look to see where the police/ambulance is and then figure out it is a Kohl's commercial. :rotfl2: BTW there was no accident. The traffic picked back up.
