FLTours was supposed to pick us up today at 10am in a limo. They lost our reservation and are trying to send a minivan over to get us. Pick a different limo company people!!

Glad to hear that they are stepping up to the plate and solve your problem though. :drive:

We had this exact same thing happen to us a couple of years ago with a different company. . . and I had confirmed a few days prior.

You should always reconfirm you reservation a few days prior.

Sorry but that's a bit crazy, so should you also call the airlines daily and dcl every day to confirm they still have your reservation.... After confirmation of a reservation, you should expect a company to manage it....

Fortunately this isn't one of the "elite" companies around these parts, otherwise this poster would have been beaten down for the negative review

Thanks for sharing your experience. We use car services frequently on all types of trips as well as at home for various reasons. I've never had to reconfirm and in fact the companies we use have typically sent a reminder email the day before. If I have to babysit my car service I won't use them again. Op- I hope you managed to get everything straightened out.

I always reconfirm flights by looking them up online (not by calling) because they often change flight times and numbers. JetBlue not so much, but legacy airlines do.

And reconfirming your reservation would have definitly saved you issues when you arrived - although it is absolutely true the company should not have dropped the ball.

JetBlue is awesome at notifying you via email about changes to times at least beyond 5 minutes or so. I think every time there has been a big change I've gotten an email saying "Your flight has changed. Here is the new information. Please acknowledge the change if it works for you. If it does not, please call." or something to that effect.

Not sure if OP booked an actual limo or a town car. I believe when I was pricing out transportation for our cruise that a limousine through them had to be paid for by credit card no later than 72 hours before pick up. They would not let us pay cash. Things could have changed since April though. I would hope that they get refunded if they did pay for any service up front.

Not every day, but it used to be standard that you had to re-confirm flights (at least) by calling the day before. Granted part of that may have been because they didn't have the electronic way of updating any changes to flight times or numbers, but it was not unheard of to have to re-confirm by phone the day before.

In the olden days! :rotfl2:
