Im new to this, so sorry if there is another thread somewhere else about flowers.

We are going for a planning session next month, however our wedding isnt until next February.

As it will be our only chance to meet the florist, I am hoping to have a good idea of what I would like.

Could you please send your pictures of your bouquets, button holes, alter decorations and table decorations (and anything else I might have missed)

jacqu3lin3 your reception room was beautiful!! Ive never seen anything like that before.

DisneyBrideToni, your flowers are the colours Im thinking of going for. My bridesmaids are almost exactly the same colour as yours.

Thanks, we loved the balloon bouquets. We had 6 total in ADH - 2 on either side of the staircases coming down to the dance floor and two on either side of the stage.

Here is a photo from upstairs - you can kind of see where they were placed. We got them through our florist and I believe they were $35.00 each.

My bouquet was light peach and purple roses, garden roses (which were a substitute for peonies, since they weren't in season...plus they had an amazing fragrance!), cymbidium orchids, and gardenias.

The BMs were garden roses, normal roses and cymbidium orchids in a tussy mussy holder

Boutonnieres were white dendrobium orchids.

Altar Piece was roses, hydrangea, orchids and ivy.

The centerpieces were floral topiaries with roses, garden roses and hydrangea.

Those centerpieces are gorgeous! What are the names of all of those centerpieces or are they a custom-design? I especially like the white rose arrangement for DisneyFairy19's sweetheart table and jacqu3lin3's bouquet!

Rawr- I dont know if my sweetheart table piece had a name.. I know my Wedding Planner showed me options for the altar arrangements and I told her I wanted it with white and blush roses. That altar arrangement moved over to my sweetheart table at the reception... HTH

I think I read somewhere else that you brought your own aisle runner. Do you know how much disney charges for theirs?

Also, do you mind me asking how much the flowers cost that were on the stands going down the sides of the aisle? Did you move them and use them at the reception like you did with the alter arrangement??

Thank you for the sweet compliment. I LOVED how the WP turned out it was exactly what I asked for.
I don’t know how much Disney was to charge for an aisle runner, I was looking at outside vendors to customize my aisle runner with our initials and wedding date and they were charging so much, close to $500.00 (I don’t think so)

So that’s when I made my own… and Disney layed and pinned it down to the floor

Also my centerpieces I cant remeber the price. I know I had Rose bring the price down by adding more greenery. When the ceremony was over they were moved to the reception tables

Thank you so much DisneyFairy19. I see now, your flowers became your table decorations. What a good idea!! I would never have thought of that.

Does anybody know which flowers are in season in February?? I would like roses and lillies. Typical that they are usually the most expensive. Haha. I'm just hoping there not going to cost the earth!!
