Ok girls - if we want to have an outside vendor for floral, do any of you know if it's a problem for our Living Seas Reception? Will we be forced to use Disney floral for our reception? I just can't see spending all that money when I can get it soooooooooooooo much less expensive someplace else. Thanks.

it is my understanding that you must use disney for the Ls. I am using them and when we went on our Ps the Em told us to remember that we had to use them. However, for your bouquet and bm's and ceremony floral you can use someone else.....so you can save money there.

I just had this discussion on Friday with my wedding planner, and due to branding issues, all in-park floral must come from Disney. (centerpieces etc.) Personal flowers (bouquets, etc.) can be from anywhere.

We haven't had our planning session yet, but it really depends on what you want. LS has a lower ceiling than most places and because it's a little darker, we are going with low centerpieces... we still want flowers in a vase (renting the vases) just going to keep that at 12" high so people can see over them. Some girls only do floating candles and rose petals... which is also a possibility for us since we have to use Disney floral for the reception now. I was really looking forward to the floral from Whimsical Wey. We are still using her for our ceremony and personal flowers, but she had such beautiful ideas for the reception and knew exactly what I wanted. Oh well, it wasn't meant to be... perhaps I'll be saving money in the long run... we'll see...

If anyone has approx. prices for their centerpieces from Disney floral and pics, it would be great to have a heads up. Thanks!!
