Does anyone know what type of flowers they use to garnish some of the salads at the Epcot? I believe they are grown in the greenhouses... I am not sure which kind! It is for a trivia contest I have going with my sister in law! Thanks for the help:)

Are they pansies? I think pansies are edible.

I don't know for sure, but pansies is my guess, as a previous poster said. I just wanted to share that once, I was at a formal dinner for military people and was seated beside a Marine Corps general. He ate everything he was served -- except the pansies on the salad. :rotfl2:

Nasturtiums are the most common. You can find others here:

Included in the list are carnations. Which reminded me of Captain Kangaroo, who always wore one that was always being eaten by his guest-animal visitor of the day.

that's funny, how the general wouldn't eat the pansy on his salad!!! :lmao:
