Yep that is Sims 3. I have been a fan since the first version of Sims came out. I know what you mean, you can get totally sucked into the game. I haven't bought any of the expansion packs for Sims 3 yet, have you played any? Just wondering if they are worth buying. I might buy them this Spring when I have time to play them. I know if I get them now I will play them and slack on my school work.

I'm having such a hard time getting into Sims3.

Overall I like it, I like that one person can go out into the town and you can still control them and the people back at the house.

I found them! I found them!. Isn't there a pair of Princess Minnie ears behind the purple Algen bottle on Lessa's desk? Erich has a friend in his class who is from Tokyo. This friend went home over Christmas break and came back with all sorts of goodies for his friends. One of those presents was a super cute pen from Tokyo Disney. Erich asked if he could bring it home to show me before it was given to the intended recipient. It was totally cute! I REALLY want to visit Japan and Tokyo Disney. Nobody in the family wants to go with me though and none of my friends are interested either. Anybody want to go to Japan with me? I make a great travel companion! Maybe if Erich and this guy stay friends it will encourage Erich to go visit Japan.

I'm thinking that I might have Erich ask his friend to buy me some cool/cute Tokyo Disney stuff next time he goes home which I would of course reimburse him for. Just look at how cute this pen is!

It's Colder than H*** in this cryogenically freeze state that I'm in, it wasn't too hard to be frozen as It has been SO cold here, the other day is was -30 without the wind chill BRRR, it was so cold that our pipes froze for the first time in over 8 years!. After Erich's posting photos of Lessa, I can hardly wait to see what I will wake up from my cryogenically slumber looking like, I hope he is KIND.

Yes Rosie, it would be nice to get together sometime, it is too bad that Niagara Falls is a bit far for a day trip, perhaps when the kids fly out to see their father this summer (Aug), I can drive down for a visit. (Dates have not yet been decided, they will be flying out of Toronto, so you won't be too far away. I know you and your family are going back to Disney in August), we will see.

I've been Simming since the original Sims as well. I have the Sims Late Night expansion and it's pretty good. There aren't nearly as many new romantic options as I was expecting though. I know in the previous night life-ish expansions, there were a lot of new romance options. However, you are given the option to live in a high rise and I think that is pretty cool. My friend also recently let me borrow her World Adventures expansion but I haven't gotten around to playing it yet. Honestly I'm not really a fan of going on vacation in the Sims world. I know in the first 2 games, whenever they would go on vacation, they would always come back with red bars for almost everything. Somehow, vacation just put them in an even worse mood!

Today is Alek's 25th birthday. Hard to believe we are so "old" now. We celebrated last week and as per tradition we got him a "funny" cake aka a kid's cake. One year he got My Little Pony another he got Power Rangers and another he got Disney Princess. Here is what he got this year.
