Flowers and Star Wars and Harry, oh my! TR started, link inside!

Planning ADR's for two weeks is so hard! We don't want to spend too much money or have an ADR every day but we do want to eat at a table service fairly regularly. Please help me choose by telling me your number one favourite table service restaurant at WDW.

I have to say my Favorite is Raglan Road !! Every evening except Sunday they also have an Irish Jig Dancer which somehow I cansee The Bros attempting !!!!:lmao: Also on my Fav. list is Rose & Crown !!,Boma Breakfast and of course Crystal Palace

:lmao: Nope, that was the day we lost our car at AK. We wandered around that parking lot for over an hour trying to find the darn thing. It was exhausting!

I remember you now take pix of the Parking # !!!!:lmao:

Happy New Year to you and your family as well Rosie. New Years Eve came and went very quietly, I hope the the New Years brings the same as well, I have a few more days off before I go back to work, the past week has been very relaxing and lazy. I think I am driving Lessa crazy with the trip planning and in doing so I have not started the New Year off in Lessa's good book for the year. Sorry Lessa:flower3::hug: Lessa has always done an outstanding job in planning our past trips, and I am sure she will do the same this trip as well. Any way I have been busy reading and You Tubing rides at Universal as I am a bit of a ride Scaredy Cat, and I have to check out a ride from all angles before I will go on it, I am not much into coasters, my last trip to Disney I actually went on Expedition Everett, no more said:scared1:, I how ever have heard that the line cue are sometimes better than the rides themselves and are just worth walking and waiting through. So much to look forward too, I can't wait:cool1:

We are planning on going to Universal to !!! How do I find more detailed info????

Good morning Rosie, The Disboards have a whole section devoted to Universal, worth reading some of the forums and trip reports, I also bought a book at Borders called Universal Orlando 2011, a very detailed guide book. We are currently have 2 day tickets and are considering added a third day, so that we can enjoy all the parks in their entirety , our major draw of course is the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. When will you and your family be going?

The pictures of your brothers are hysterical! I love the one with the princess dresses. You must have some interesting times with those two. I am going to have to go and read your trip report, it must be a lot of fun.

That picture of Rafiki is cracking me up! :rotfl: I feel very bad for whoever was in the soaking wet Rafiki suit!

Your brothers are too funny!

You could say that. :rolleyes1

The rain during that storm was crazy, one of the funniest things we have ever seen at WDW.

Can't do Raglan Road, I am a picky eater and nothing on that menu looks good to me.

You are right, I always make sure I know where we are parked now and take a picture of the row, no wandering in the parking lot for us ever again!

I find it hard to find lots of detailed info for Universal like there is for WDW. Like Mom said, there is that book which is somewhat helpful, also the Unofficial Guide has that small section on Uni.

We were in Disney during Tropical Storm Fay and all I can say is we felt like drowned rats, I have never been so drenched on a trip before and we lived in Florida.

My favorite restaurant is a close tie between Ohana and Kona Cafe. I guess I love anything at the Polynesian resort.

I cannot believe the story about the rat! Maybe it was really Remy, checking up on the quality of the dessert?

We are kind of nervous about rain for our next trip. In May, we had record highs. In December we had record lows. I figure the only record left would be record rainfall.

 Yeah. definitely was not ideal weather.

 Alek posted on that TR stating it was Remy and Rosie believed him that a costumed Remy had been scratching at my leg. :lmao: That's right Rosie, I will never let you forget it. ;) Thing is, there was no food in the area, this was before the dessert party took over the area, back when it was "free" to sit there for Wishes.

Well if you travel when we are there you are sure to get rain. :rolleyes1 Stupid rain curse!

i just did an update on the luau we did, we loved the food and the show, even paying OOP we would still do it...might be something to consider for you guys.

i have some good pics of the food to see if you would eat them.

:thumbsup2 I've looked at the menu but seeing your food pics will be helpful.

I just had another look at the menu and it is much broader than I had remembered, it is now on the to consider list!

:lmao: If an actual CM in a Remy costume had been clawing at my leg, well that is just a lawsuit waiting to happen. :lmao:

how about whispering canyone, i think your brothers would fit in good with the waiters there.

you might have already talked about that one, but i didnt see it anywhere.:confused3

That is a no go, except maybe for breakfast. We ate there when we stayed at the WL back in 07 and Alek and Erich didn't care for it too much. We didn't get to experience any antics and then follow that up with them spending the rest of the night in the bathroom. :rolleyes1

The last installment of Disney History! Our last trip to WDW was in May 2009 and it was just me and Mom. It was a two week land and sea trip. One week at POP and then one week on the Disney Magic.

Here is the link to the trip report: The Sea Witch Stole My Voice! Our Two Week Land and Sea Adventure

Another great trip, although it was a different type of trip since the crazy brothers were not along for the ride. Mom and I had fun though and we got to meet lots of Disers! This was the year of the Mammoth May Meet. A sea of lime green descended on the France pavilion one day in May, the like of which had never been seen before. :lmao:

Unfortunately, the rain curse struck again. The first day and a half of our trip was sunny and beautiful and then the rain came. Not only did it rain while we were in WDW but the nasty weather followed us out to sea as well. Out of the whole trip we only really had 3-4 truly sunny days with no rain and no overcast skies.

I also got sick during the cruise portion of the trip but I wasn't sick enough that I let it stop me from having fun, in fact I just ignored it until our last day when I could no longer talk.

Mom and I fell in love with Disney Cruise Line and we can't wait to cruise again. Maybe when the Fantasy arrives?

During the WDW portion of the trip we were able to enjoy the Flower and Garden Festival as well as Star Wars Weekends, just like we hope to do this upcoming May!

The Mammoth Meet was lots of fun and we had our own private photopass photographer there to document the whole event, he even brought over Aurora to get in our picture which made it even more special. He took lots of candid photos during the meet, I have over a hundred pictures but here is the whole gang.

When we went in May 0f 2009 it was the before the rain hit and I would have preferred the rain - it was the hottest I ever felt 100 + degrees every day.

Beautiful cruise photos. :thumbsup2
