Flowers and Star Wars and Harry, oh my! TR started, link inside!

Great choice. CSR looks great.

Thanks, let's hope that I stick with my decision. The pin code expires at the end of the month so I have until then to change my mind. :rotfl:

Besides, I haven't really noticed too many "poles" around the larger resorts, and the one's that have them I noticed have signs "No Dancing Allowed - Rosie, this means YOU!!!" :rotfl2: I'll have to check on our upcoming trip though, just in case I need to join Rosie's "Elite Pole Dancers Club."

Please do Marv !!You could have a whole chapter on Pole Danceable Poles !!!:rotfl2:

I dunno Marv, CSR has Club Rix, I'm sure there are a bar or two that can be found that would suit Rosie's purposes.

Yeaaaaaa! How exciting that y'all picked a resort! I was right about you going with a Moderate, too! I have to say that the room pics of CSR are very nice! I think you made a great choice going with it!! I've always thought their pool was pretty cool too!!

I hope I made the right decision going with CSR over a deluxe! The pictures sure do make it look nice!

CSR looks great. The rooms look very pretty and the pool area looks fun.

Great choice!

Thanks, I sure hope that the resort lives up to the pictures, I have been reading nothing but great reviews.

CSR is a great choice, they rooms look much bigger, plus queen beds always a plus when sharing. We stayed in Kidani in August and we weren't all that impressed. The wilderness lodge is beautiful but saving $1200 is much better.

It's great that you're planning to get in a few runs during ur vacation. I've never run a 5k, I've only walked it. All the walking you'll be putting into touring the parks should count too!

Just checked out pics of CSR. Boy do those rooms look nice for a mod! I may even book that for our 2012 vacation and get rid of my AKL habit. ;)

Is there a big difference between the rooms in the different houses (cabanas vs casitas vs ranchos)?

Hi Leesa,
Can I join in.
I know there are a few people upset with me.
I never meant that you were writing a TR with an alias name.
I meant that someone copied your color of writing-and had a similar username.
I should of kept everything to myself.
I'm sorry.

I'm running a 5K too, plus swimming and biking and I am getting kicked-literally. How fast are your miles?

Oh, I finally visited your great country.
When we were in Ontario fly fishing, I kept telling my dh,
"this is just like the movie in Canada at WDW".
He wasn't amused.

The queen beds will be SO nice, I always felt cramped sharing when staying at Pop. I like to spread out when I sleep and felt like I was going to shove Mom out of bed.

I absolutely have to make sure I am ready to run the 5K at the end of May. I have told everybody that I am doing it so don't want to let people down! Not to mention I want to show my Dad I can do it, I don't think he believes I will follow through with it since I am always such a wuss on the hikes he takes us on.

The rooms are the same for all the sections of CSR, the only way the sections differ is in the theme of the exterior of the building and the landscaping. Personally I like Casitas best based on the pictures, then cabanas and then ranchos. Really though, other than distance from the main building or the pool it doesn't really matter to me which section we get.

Of course you can join in! I'm sure nobody is mad at you.

I am still pretty slow, I average about 11 minutes a miles. My fastest 5K so far is 38 minutes. I can't run continuously though, I need to run in intervals, haven't worked my stamina up to continuous running yet. Usually I jog for 5 minutes then walk for two, jog for five, walk for two, repeat until I reach 5K.

You know what you should try? The climb up CN Tower! I never thought I could do it, and I STILL can't believe I actually did it! Every time you look up the tower you can say, "I walked all the way up that". It's incredible.

Oh my gosh, I would probably pass out! Although the tower probably isn't much higher than the Enderby Cliffs hike I did this summer.

Lessa you are encouraging him!!:scared1:Are you suggesting Pole or Lap Dancing !!!:lmao::lmao:

:rolleyes1

You're only thinking of changing it because I figured you out so easily! :sad2: BETH, can't you control this girl!?! :confused3 ;)

(Somehow, I'm guessing Rosie is behind this........)

"Rosie's purposes" is definitly not a level I would tend to aspire for!!! :rolleyes1

Like I can be so easily influenced............

Great resort choice! I'll love to hear all about it when you come back. I'm in the midst of planning a possible July/August trip at CSR. I've only stayed there 3 nights before so didn't get to enjoy it too much. The beds are heavenly! That much I do remember!!!

Did you consider a family suite at the Values? I have liked what I have seen of them in photos and such. If my family was bigger, it would be a definite option for us.

 Nope, when it comes to vacation planning, I am in control! ;)

Good to know about the beds, they certainly look comfy. :cloud9:

You can be sure that I will have tons of video and lots to say about the resort when we get back.

I did look at that but what drew me away from those is the fact that there is only one proper bed. The other beds are all pull-out beds and those are always dubious when it comes to comfort. Also that would have meant staying at the All-Stars resorts and they do not appeal to me at all. The family suites also weren't any cheaper than CSR, in fact, I think CSR ended up being slightly cheaper.

You're right, they are not cheaper. Similar in cost to the mods though. I haven't read any bad reviews on the special foldout couch and chair, but I also can't recall reading any good reviews either. I just like the idea of having two bathrooms and the extra room space.

Sounds like CSR is a good choice for your group!
My wife and I stayed there once many years ago. We didn't care for the way they food court was run, but otherwise enjoyed the resort immensly. Of course, lots has changed since then so don't use me as a reference for the resort.

Two bathrooms would be nice in the event of an intestinal disturbance like what happened when we stayed at WL back in 2007. :rotfl: Other than that we don't have much issues. I take the longest getting ready in the morning but I am always up before Alek and Erich so not an issue and Mom is always up before me. :thumbsup2

We don't tend to eat at the resort food courts much, I have read mixed things about the Pepper Market as well. They have opened up a new quick service place recently, Cafe Rix, so if we don't like Pepper Market we can go there. We plan on eating mostly in the parks, off-site or in our room (stock up at the grocery store).

Control Lessa LOL, I guess you don't know her that well. she has a mind of her own. It is nice to have a personal planner, I get to sit back and relax while some else is stressing about the who, what and where. I have told Lessa my preference in lodging and she will do her best to please her dear ol' mom as she always does. The only thing Lessa cannot control are the Bros Grimm.

Learning, always learning!!! :rotfl2:

 Well, we do need you to give us a narrative story about Parker's pictures since he is too young to write for himself. ;)
:sad2:

you guys will love the resort, we did when we stayed there 2 trips ago. we did not have any negative complaints, and we thought the CM's that worked there were the friendliest we have had on property.
