Flowers and Star Wars and Harry, oh my! TR started, link inside!

plans sound good, here is another option that we did for many trips...

have you checked to see what the cost would be to add the no expiration onto the 10 day tickets with the water park option..i know it will bump up your cost this trip, but then since you are going to universal and want to do other things, you wont have to feel like you need to use up more of those days.

you can also have more down days to do more water parks or disney quest, or just relax....and the best thing is that your next trip will be considerable cheaper since you already have tickets for it, and would onlyhave to pick up the hotel and meals part.

just an idea for you to check out.

That would work except we are definitely going to be using 7 of the 10 days, so not worth the cost to add the no expiration.

I forgot to say in the original post with our tentative itinerary that one of our WDW tickets is free! Here in Canada you can collect "air miles" at the grocery store, gas station and several other locations which you can redeem for all sorts of rewards, one of those rewards is a 7-day WDW ticket. We had more than enough air miles saved up to get a ticket so I ordered that up a few weeks ago. All we'll have to do when we get to WDW is go to the concierge desk and add three days onto the ticket plus the water parks. So a ticket that would have been nearly $300 will only be about $60. Good deal!

sweet.

do they offer the disney visa card up there, we get a good amount of points that we can turn into disney gift cards.

Awesome about the airmiles!!!! I only started collecting them last year, but I can't wait for them to pay off! I'm also part of the aeroplan points card.

Plans look good! I would definitely add a trip or two to DQ! Your bros. will like it a lot. Gives them a place to burn off some of that energy. (why am I talking about them like they are little kids?)

I love air miles! I don't collect aeroplan points, do you get anything special with those or just Air Canada flights?

:lmao: Probably because they act like little kids. ;)

As with everything that occurs in the world, history plays a large part in shaping what is and what is to come, and our upcoming trip is no exception. With that in mind my next few posts here on this PTR over the next week or so will be about how our vacation history will influence our plans for this coming May.

Growing up our family didn't really go on vacation. Since my Dad was in the Navy we moved every few years and those moves were our "vacations". Most of the moves were cross-country/continent moves and we would take a few weeks to drive to our new home and "vacation" at the same time. As a result I have been to almost all the States and Provinces in North America and seen A LOT! Our only other "vacations" were to see family.

In 1989 we moved from Ottawa, Ontario to Monterey, California. On this move our family visited a Disney park for the first time. I would have been 5/6 at the time, Alek was 3 and Erich was a newborn. As you can probably guess, we visited Disneyland on this first trip. If memory serves we only visited for two days. I gained the most from the visit as Erich was a baby and Alek ended up being afraid of the characters. :lmao:

I love that Peter Pan picture. I want Peter to hug ME like that!

Beth those two are definately uncontrollable !!!:lmao:I'm sad we wont get to meet again next year but one day one day!!!!!:cloud9::hug:

I am gathering that. Yes, it is sad that we won't meet next year, but who knows, just maybe I will have to make a quick escape sometime next year to regain some sense of control, perhaps a solo Disney trip will be what the doctor order, only time will tell.

:thumbsup2
I wish you would quit badmouthing the Brothers Grimm like that!!!! :rolleyes1

Oh, Marv... you just don't know, you just don't know. You'll find out soon enough, there have been some major rumblings in the Bros Grimm camp.

It's okay. It's considered a youth book although it's written at a higher level. It's interesting, but not sure I would recommend it. It's called The Brothers Grimm: Two Lives, One Legacy.

Hi Lessa's mom here, perhaps you were to read Brother Grimm by Craig Russell , it is a crime novel that makes a grisly reference to folk stories collected almost two hundred years ago by the Brothers Grimm. The hunt is on for a serial killer who is exploring the darkest, most fundamental fears hidden in ancient fairy tales. An interesting twist on all those wonderful tales that we all grew up with, this is most definitely an adult read, not mean for the young.

I love air miles! I don't
:lmao: Probably because they act like little kids. ;)

Obviously many have not read or seen pix of the Bros antics !!!:lmao:I think you should repost some , like the RASH and the Hit & Run !!!!:lmao:Then I think why I nicknamed The Bros will be apparent !!! And yes I take full credit for their Name !!!!:rotfl2:
