Is it against some kind of rule to show toes if you have never had a pedicure? Should I go throw all my sandals out?

I cannot paint my toes to save my life, I end up with polish all over my toes, kinda like when I paint the house

I don't bother with my fingernails, I have the polish chipped off before I get in the car.
