I was kind of sad when Disney dropped the Narnia movies. Prince Caspian wasn't that great, but it could have been. I bet the attraction at DHS will be replaced soon.

That stinks that the Narnia exhibit was a bust.I've heard the same thing from others though. Great update, I can't wait to read about EMH!!
Yeah, Narnia was definitely a waste of good WDW time!
Can't believe your wedding is in 3 days!! Good to hear you have everything planned for the big day - hope it turns out to be a day to remember!
Back to the update and I can't wait to ride TSMM but am pretty certain that Zaheer will beat me every time!Love the moment that DF captured and I will def not be flaming you about having an opinion - I agree it does not sound fair what that family did and it sounds like they were taking advantage of the situation.
I don't think I have ever read a positive review of Narnia - have heard it will be closed by the time we get to Disney!
As long as you give Zaheer a run for his money, that's all that matters.
Of course, once one of you beats the other, the loser will want a rematch, so just be prepared to ride multiple times!

I LOVE TSM!! I can't wait to ride that one! I have never seen the Narnia movies, so I will just skip right over that one
TSM is a fantastic ride, and looking back, I don't know how I thought we could skip it.

Ugh, Brandon made me do the Narnia thing on one trip, and I hated every second of it! I tried to have an open mind, but it was so boring!

Because I am in shock that my wedding was almost a week ago, I decided to post a few pictures.
For the past few days, my computer was still at my old house, so I could not do any trip reporting (all the pics were on it). Now, that I have it at my new place, though, I should be updating within the next 3 days.
For anyone who happened to see the weather this past weekend, you'll know that Tropical Storm Lee passed right over Northwest FL (where I live). This is what my venue looked like by 9 am.
Luckily, when I'd booked the place, they told me I could move everything to the reception area if it rained.
Which, clearly, I had to do.
There were several hiccups during the event, but all in all Alex and I had a great day.
(In this picture you can see my best friend/Maid of Honor all the way to the left, my older brother in between Alex and I, and Alex's best friend on the far right side.)
(You can see that it was still raining at 6 o'clock that evening.)
A lot of people asked us about why we chose a Disney cruise for our honeymoon, so Alex and I got to go into our love of WDW. There were a few times that people's eyes began to glaze over when I started spewing off facts like restaurants and special Disney touches.
We did get a few Disney related things, which we both loved. His parents gave us a blanket they'd made that turned into a beach bag. The design was red with a bunch of Hidden Mickeys on it. (They FINALLY excepted our love of WDW).
My best friend/Maid of Honor gave me a couple Disney outfits to wear on the cruise. And another friend gave us a gift card to use at WDW.
Plus, I incorporated Disney just a teensy bit into the wedding. As Alex and I were walking down the aisle after the ceremony, I had The Little Mermaid's "Kiss the Girl" play in instrumentals. My theme was tropical (if you couldn't tell by the crazy colors) and Ariel was always my favorite princess growing up. I love the beach and used to have red hair, so I found it fitting to throw that in there.
We also made our photographers take pictures of our rings in the shape of a Hidden Mickey. They did not get that AT ALL.
And one of my brothers, when decorating our car, threw in a Hidden Mickey. He knew it'd get a laugh out of both us of. Unfortunately, the rain washed it away before we could see it.
The good thing about the storm hitting us was that everybody's traveling plans were delayed. My best friend and Alex's best friend were stuck in town an extra day. They both live far away from us (Louisiana and Texas) and they both were staying in the same hotel, right across the hall from each other. Therefore, Alex and I got to spend a lot of additional time with them, which was wonderful.
I'm thinking one day in the distant future, you'll see a TR with my best friend in it. Nicole LOVES Disney a lot (not as much as we do here on the DISboards) and she'd love to go there again. (So, her name might pop up on here again eventually.)
Okay, I tried to keep my wedding recap short and sweet. After all, this thread isn't in the Weddings and Honeymoons section, it's in the trip report part. And because I am feeling the need to add something about a trip to make it all worthwhile...
How late do you think I can wait before I decide to do MNSSHP? Alex and I need to wait until closer to the cruise to see if we can manage to do the party, but I don't want tickets to sell out before we decide. We're planning to do the October 23rd one, which is a Sunday, so I'm worried it might be a bit busier.
Anyone have experience with tickets selling out???

Just read your whole report start to finish....it's fantastic! You looked absolutely beautiful on your wedding day...that was our travel home day
Going forward we'll just look on Sept 3 as your wedding day...not the end of my holiday day

Thank you! I warned Alex to be on the lookout for Disney stuff during the wedding, and when The Little Mermaid song came on, I asked him, "Do you hear waht's playing." And his response was just, "Uh huh."

Alex is really looking forward to the cruise, because before I introduced him to Disney, that was his favorite form of vacation. I am excited to experience a new Disney activity, but I won't lie, I'm a little sad that I won't be going to WDW for a Disneymoon. I keep trying to find loopholes that'll let us go to Orlando for just a few extra days.

Thank you! My brother went with me to pick my dress (I don't have any sisters and he's one of my best friends) and when I came out of the changing room, he just looked at me and said, "Cinderella."
Thanks! Once I decided on such a princess-y dress, I figured I might as well throw the tiara in for good measure.

What's amusing is, not only is September 3rd my wedding day and your departure day...but August 21st was your arrival day and my birthday.
When I saw the dates for your trip, I laughed and showed Alex; of all the days to pick, it's pretty funny that you chose two big days for me.
