I just read about a pin pursuit starting the day we go to disney. I am not sure I understand the rules fully.
Can I run around willy-nilly like a maniac and get all the pins in one day, or do I have to do one a day? Or is it one a day per park? Or can I get one and my DFH get another one and do it in half as many days?
Does that make sense?
Sorry, so many questions!!
Here is the official info:

I haven't done one of these myself but I think that you will not have to do it all in one day. You can do it over the course of several days. You might want to get the stitch the first day since he is very popular and might go faster than the other pins. You can only get once stamp per day so I would guess that you can not have someone do yours and theirs on the same day. Hope this helps a little.

Answers:
1. Can I run around willy-nilly like a maniac and get all the pins in one day? Yes you can but you don't have to.
2. Do I have to do one a day? No but you can if you want to.
3. Is it one a day per park? Nope, you can park hop
4. Can I get one and my DFH get another one? Yes, both of you can do it together and get two free Figment pins (and yes I'll trade you for the Figment, I need it for my collection)
5. Yes you can fill out one card per person per day, so if you and DH are there 7 days and run around willy-nilly and complete each card each day, you will have 14 free Figment pins.

Warning: The completer pin (Figment, in this case) is a limited quantity so if you complete your card and they don't have any more left, you're out of luck.....This happened with the Villiantine's Day pin pursuit Chernabog pin and ticked off more than a few people from what I heard.

Above all else....have fun!

Stitch pin is at the Pop Century Hotel, which won't require a ticket to get in, so yes, they will sell out fast, even though it's not a LE pin.
There are only 3,500 Figment pins to be handed out.

Oh -- I am sure we will be running around willy nilly. Once we get started, we rather just finish it. ;)
One reason the completer pins are gone so quickly is guests do not have to purchase the other pins. Guests can run around and get their cards stamped. But they don't HAVE to buy any pins to get the freebie. And always see where some don't.
Just something to keep in mind.

And is this where we start the begging line?
I would really love the Figment pin, and a few of the flower pins. But I don't get to Orlando until May 24th. I bet the Figment will be gone by then.
If anyone has some time to spare and wants to do the pursuit just for the exercise please let me know. Peggie

I thought the flower pins are a LE of 2500 and Figment 3500?

4orm you are correct in this series ALL pins are LE 2500 except for the Figment completer which is LE 3500

Sorry guys! One more ?

It states you can only get one stamp per day, per person on the map, so I don't think you can get them all at once because they will be date stamped or something? Am I right about this or do I misunderstand?

My first tip is to go after the pins outside the parks first. Especially the one at Pop, since it's Stitch and a high volume resort, it could go really quickly.

Get a card for all members of your party to get stamped so that you get extras of the really cool Figment for trading. Finish your project ASAP.

The reason I say this is because of the nightmare that happened to me with Santa's Pin List back in December. We didn't go to DTD first, because that was where the completor pin was. We didn't think about the fact that Disney parked the really desirable Santa Mickey from the set down there. That pin sold out in 3 or 4 days, it was a Wednesday. Anyway, we didn't get there until Friday. Boy we were disappointed. The sharks wouldn't trade for him unless you threw in money or a couple of DA 100's, it was nuts. Needless to say, it was not our greatest pin experience at that point. Luckily, I was able to trade for him. The set is complete and still needs to be framed. Oneday.....

I thnk they mean:
one stamp per guest
at each location
per day

After you answer the trvia question, each location has a different decorative stamp. They just stamp a small, marked area next to the question you answered.

You are able to get one stamp at each location per person per day. They limit it because they do not want you getting ten cards stamped at once.

I would love this pin set, but I will not be there until the first week in June. If anyone has an extra set, I would be willing to trade for it or buy it! My mom's birthday is at the end of May and this would be a great gift for her. She frames the sets and hangs them in our hallway.
