Ok so I am trying to cut my floral budget down. I am having 6 pew markers and think can cut them but still wanted some color to teh aisle. I thought about rose petals but I hear Disney is expensive with those..anyone know?

So I was thinking of using freeze-dry rose petals that you buy online. They look pretty but I am wondering if anyone has seen them or used them for their weddings...or even silk petals.

Thanks :Pinkbounc

in my floral proposal, the red rose petals along the aisle are $200. thats one of the first things im changing with trying to reduce my floral. im going to buy the fake ones from a craft store.

Yea me too. I heard from someone else doing a wedding that they suggested using freeze-dry petals. they are real petals and just preserved. online they about 19 bucks. I might try those.

Any one know if there is a fee if we bring silk petals and give to our planner to et up?

Something to consider if using silk petals is that FTW may charge you a clean up fee as these can't just biodegrade like regualr petals can. Whihc means that they can't just let these blow about. We were told that we'd either have to clean them up ourselves for pay FTW to do it. Just a thought.

Thanks for the heads-up on that. I was actually wanting to use them in the WP and not outside. So I can't imagine its any harder to clean-up for them than regular rose petals.

hmm thanks for the heads up, anyone know where to find/buy those those freezed rose petals? i dont want to pay a clean up fee for my fake petals.

What about combining your centerpieces as aisle decorations? You're not paying double for floral and you get to enjoy your flowers at more than just the recpetion. There is a $100 set up fee associated with the move. You may also pay for columns, etc., for the flowers to be placed down the aisle.

Thats a good idea! Otherwise its a waste of money for the aisle decorations as your only going to see them for 30mins or so lol!

i can't do that b/c my centerpieces are glass bowls filled with water and candles.... :confused3
